Bangladesh University of Professionals Journal BANGLADESH UNIVERSITY OF PROFESSIONALS JOURNAL

BUP Journal shares the scientific community aspirations to ensure rapid and full access to scholarly results.

“By "open access" to this [research] literature, we mean its free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution and the only role for copyright in this domain should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited.” The Budapest Open Access Initiative, 2002.

That is why, articles published by BUP Journal are open access ones.

We are in favor of liberal self-archiving policy for authors, which promotes the dissemination of new knowledge and scholarly results.

We also believe that citation and the availability of information on it to the wider scientific community are important for the scientific knowledge dissemination (under the Creative Commons licenses), and we work to make citation data structured, separable and open.

  1. The articles published by BUP Journal are provided with digital object identifiers (DOIs) that contain all associated metadata and articles URL.
